Even though alligators share no affinity for one another they tend to lounge all over each other. I was completely fascinated by and thoroughly enjoyed following the lines to see where one ended and another began and thought others might enjoy it too, so decided to paint them. While there's a lot going on here, this one just flowed for me, so was a joy to paint. The pastels I used are not listed but the entire painting was done with PanPastels and Derwent, Carbothello, Caran d'Ache and Conte Pastel Pencils.
