The Paper Mulberry Tree That Was

This tree once stood on the streets of Colonial Williamsburg, VA. until disease ravaged it. I was asked to do a small commission piece of the tree and became fascinated with it and then created this larger version. It is on Sennelier dark gray paper using Sennelier pastels.
