The Sentry

Some years ago, I walked through a lovely park in Kensington Maryland. I caught this Robin, much like a sentry, overlooking the riches of the shrubs and trees. His bright orange feathers resting near a turquoise bench caught my eye. And I knew someday that I would try to create that moment with these wonderfully dusty pastels.
