Rainy Days and Mondays

This is from my photo reference in a local downtown Wilmington, NC restaurant. We got caught there by a storm but it made a lovely view. I used black Somerset velvet printmaking paper with pastel ground applied. This gritty surface helped get the perception of the rain on the window outside.
