Sunny Day

I was using a folded piece of paper towel to swipe pan pastels for a different project. Every now and then I got a lot of pastel on the paper towel, and I had a large piece of Uart black paper on the table. I dabbed the extra pastel onto the paper with great abandon, thinking about how much fun the "swipes" looked. After I finished what I was doing and looked over at the black paper, I had the most marvelous background and I knew exactly what I was going to do the next day! In the morning, all the other flowers that are in the forefront happily emerged.
