This piece was created on Uart 400 mounted board with soft pastels. The beginning stage was under painted with Nupastel and 91% alcohol. My inspiration was a beautiful scene after a late spring snow and ice storm. It was late morning and had already melted quite a bit but the remnants made for a great landscape painting.
