This painting was painted 'en plein air' in the beautiful quaint village of St Trinit. Saint Trinit is a minuscule village located on the boundary of the Vaucluse with the Alpes in Haute Provence in the heart of the magnificent landscapes of the Sault area. It was a most memorable town with its few houses grouped around its listed church dedicated to the Holy Trinity and surrounded by the stunning and fragrant Lavender fields.
