Mustang Monogamy

I have spent the past several years photographing and studying the Pryor Mountain wild Mustangs. The relationships and friendships amongst these horses is complex and and very different than literature had led me to believe. This stallion and mare caught my eye last summer. They were obviously tightly bonded. I originally thought of naming it "The Wind Drinker and his Lady" but I chose a title that explained how enduring their relationship is.
