Sitting Upon High

My village in Germany. I walk thru here so often, especially during COVID 19. I always want to capture the beauty and bring it with me.
My painting was inspired by an artist in Charleston. I loved her use of reds and pinks to capture the idea of late afternoon sun making objects burst with light and color. I also tried to loosen up my painting and watch values and where the eye was directed.
