During COVID 19 quarantine, I went on many walks in my village in Germany. The sun was setting casting a nice glow when I took a photo. This painting is based on that photo and I was sad to not put people in the painting. I focused on loosening up, values, and use of warm and cool colors. Hopefully I was successful.
