Spring Creek

Some of my favorite landscapes involve trees in the late spring. This painting of a small creek in northeastern Oklahoma showcases bright greens trees, warm orange sunlight, and cool violet shadows, offering the impression of a late spring day full of possibilities during an otherwise dark time in the world.
