Afternoon in Japanese Garden

On a family trip in the fall , we spent an amazing afternoon in Portland Japanese Garden . The light was incredible and I took several pictures with my phone. I was particularly drawn to this image with the sun shining through a Japanese maple full of brilliant fall foliage contrasted with the cool shadows . Ii is painted on black Colourfix board which made the colors pop which I of course exaggerated .
