“Poppy’s Love”

Soft and hard pastels and pastel pencils on 400 uart beige paper. This was an emotional piece to paint and I feel can stir many emotions for any one viewing it. I painted this from a picture of my brother napping with his grand daughter. He had cancer and the chemo treatments tired him out. Holding her hand was the only comfort he got. This just shows the love of a grandparent.
