A friend’s dog, Chance passed away at Age 15, a few weeks ago. Chance was a wonderful boy! I had photos of her dogs and wanted to do something special to help with her grieving, so I decided to complete this painting of Chance. I have painted other portraits of dog, but much looser. I wanted to capture his personality and soul. When I showed it to my friend, she was elated and she indicated that I had really captured Chance.
