Sir Maximus Winston Bennett

While on a walk with my cat with camera in hand, I suddenly noticed "Max" to stop, prop himself up, and turn his head in the opposite direction. I was inspired by his unique pose and the way the light shined on his profile. While contemplating the photo, I could not help but think that he looked like the incarnation of a royal king on a castle wall surveying his kingdom. My painting portrays Max as the dignified character that he is and in the style of paintings from another era.
